ACT & HELP is a French NGO (Non-Governmental Organization), officially and legally recognized as a Nonprofit Humanitarian Association. Founded in 2007, without any political or religious commitment, it was initiated to battle all forms of poverty and exclusion.

Its ambition is to help the most underprivileged populations, wherever they are. Its action is mainly centered on the city of Varanasi (Banaras), in Uttar Pradesh, one of the poorest State in India, where Act & Help contributes to the digging of drinking water wells in villages, supports the creation and maintenance of free health centers, insures a school tuition program for street children, finances scholarships to deserving students, shelters and brings medical care, education and professional training to young girls and children who found themselves inside sex and drugs trades in India.

In France, Act & Help action is particularly centered on aid to refugees and migrants in region of Calais, by contributing to local NGOs.

Overall, the aim of Act & Help is to support, directly or through local associations, all initiatives that might serve its causes.
